Corrosion Logs

All fields

Representative wells should be selected in all producting fields to be  logged through tubing or during their workover to establish the rate of corrosion in every field (or area within a field)

Wells with no previous corrosion logs

Calculate the Remaining Casing Life(RCL) by dividing the total metal thinckness by the rate of corrosion (for wells with  Remaining Casing Life exceeding 20 years, assume 20 years of Remaining Casing Life(RCL)

Wells with previious corrosion logs

Determine the rate of corrosion and calculate RCL.

Run corrosion logs based on numbers of years

All Wells

Issue workover proposal if the Remaining Casing Life (RCL) is less than 4years
